Destination Weddings in the Czech Rebublic

The Czech Republic is a magical country in the center of Europe, rich in history and beautiful countryside. A crossroads of trade and cultures for hundreds of years, its diverse architecture is testament to its wide range of international influences.

Many great writers, composers and artists have found inspiration in its romantic countryside and grand cities. Many couples have discovered that a Czech destination wedding is one that combines old-world charm with a cultured and cosmopolitan spirit.

Towering over the capital city of Prague's cathedrals, medieval bridges, cobblestone streets and verdant parks, is Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world. Venture out of the city to find a countryside filled with pastures, mountain villages, Gothic castles, and health spas. One third of the country is still virgin forest; beware of Carpathian bears!

Climate:
Prague has a somewhat humid, continental climate, with cold winters and hot summers. The best months to visit, in terms of the weather and availability of rooms and services, are the months of May, June and September. July and August, while the country's busiest tourist months, might still be fine if you are venturing into the countryside.
