TUNE IN TONIGHT!!

Love is certainly in the air this week! We just got back from planning a wedding proposal for the national television show "Inside Edition" at Hunter Mountain in the Catskill Mountains of NY.

When Gabby Feliu decided to pop the question to his girlfriend Bijou Summers in a creative, unique and over the top way, he looked to the team at Destination Bride with Lisa Light to help him make it run as smoothly as possible.

We had our work cut out for us coordinating a number of elements (including the weather!) However in the end it turned out to be a wonderful, happy and picture perfect day.

We coordinated with the top-notch staff at Hunter Mountain to have signs headed down the chair lift as the couple was headed up to "prepare Bijou to say yes!" A trumpeter and violinist played live atop the mountain as a crowd of fellow skiers celebrated and showered the couple with Flutter Fetti Confetti sticks once she said "Yes!" The happy couple went down the mountain in a guided rescue sled towards a horse drawn sleigh waiting to meet them to take them to the lodge where they were greeted by staff with 36-inch sparklers at the entryway. The team welcomed them into the lodge where a roaring fireplace and champagne greeted the newly engaged couple!
